If one of our dogs is sick, they give us the facts, alternatives for treatment and the respective costs. They answer every question and don't rush us. They handle our dogs gently. Our vet gives our each dog a treat after her/his exam. They do not whitewash bad news.

We have used this clinic for ten years now. Being a transplant here I can fully say they are awesome! There is not one of the three Doctors I would not trust.

Best vet ever they make you fill like family

We live about 45 minutes from the clinic so when we bring our dog(s) in for routine care, they let us leave her/him/them there after the visit so that we can complete errands that we've combined with the trip to town ... for free.

We've had to euthanize two of our old dogs. Each time our vet was kind enough to let us keep Hoss and, then five weeks later, Jack, in our vehicle and came out from the clinic to administer the drug. In that way, our dogs were in a familiar place, in our arms and able to pass with love. We then took each home and buried them in our yard.

I do not hesitate to recommend the folks at the Boone County Veterinary Clinic to anyone. They are good folks and love animals.

I had to have my dog humanely euthanized due to cancer. He had a cough for several years and we did X-ray after X-ray never to find anything. Sounded like he was always try to cough up a hair ball. Anyway, years later an x-ray finally showed something, but it was to late. Drove him to Springfield to a top notch clinic there, Nothing they could do. So, I had no options. I scheduled an appointment days out to hang on to him, as long as I could. Showed up and had to wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes. When someone is going threw this you should make them sit around while their mind and heart is already breaking. Little more understand would be appreciated.

Called in asked price on ultrasound and then called back to see if they could get me in since I'm in Harrison from out of town and they couldnt... make time to give above great customer service.

The veterinarians and staff are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate. The facility is clean. Their service prices are very reasonable.
