I don't care how fancy the office is - I am a big city girl and of course that attracted me, but now I've learned it truly is all about the dr. I am now using my family dr for all of my needs and couldn't be happier.
After moving back to the area I was looking for a new OBGYN. I had three different appointments with Dr. Taylor and at all three the conversation was the same. I was raked over the coals for having unprotected sex with my husband and pushed to get an IUD, something I absolutely did not want. We were open to a possible pregnancy, that wasn't the issue, I simply wanted the pill to get things back on schedule and ease my cramps.
He is an awful. Docyor
He made me have a painful childbirth, which I opted not too and I was induced!! He has horrible bedside manor. He also has no sympathy.I will be forever scarred by my delivery. He gave me an iud, which I have had for over a year. It has been so painful, I thought i was going to have to go to the er a few times that it had me hurled over. Cuts my husband and feels like its proforated my uterus! He wanted to charge me $250 to remove it and they wouldn't budge on the price or let me make payments, considering I am working for a family of 4. What kind of doctor leaves a patient in pain till they have money? For all I know, it could have done damage where I can't have kids anymore!! Somethings not right. They won't listen. He left my pregnant friend wondering if her baby is dead after a horrific fall down the stairs. He told her she's ok without checking her out! He made my neighbor stay in hard labor for over 2 weeks (late) and her baby came out with cerebral pausy and she took her baby to childrens and they told her it's from being inside for too long. She told him when she was 3 days in labor to just to a C section, and he refused saying it would be ok. He did that.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, I for one however hold Dr. Taylor in the highest regard, he has always treated me and my concerns with respect never leaving my questions unanswered I think he has a great bedside manner. Dr. Taylor delivered my twins via c-section and performed a tubal nearly two years ago I had absolutely no trouble with healing or the recovery and barely have a scar to show for it. I think he is a great man and an absolutely fantastic doctor and would recommend him to anyone.
They also had a problem processing one of the appointments with insurance and acted as if I was lying about even having insurance - then made me pay out of pocket for all appointments without pursuing the issue. I did not appreciate being treated so rude for something so petty.
