4 years later, I was pregnant again and saw a new doctor, who prescribed me progesterone right away. And what do you know Mrs Phelps, IT WORKED! And now I have a beautiful 2 year old !
I'd give her a negative 5 if I could. This woman single highhandedly caused the death of my unborn child. I had previously had a miscarriage and my progesterone levels were low. I begged and begged her to put me on progesterone suppositories for this new pregnancy.
I have been seen at this clinic by Dr. Phelps and Dr. Shrum for many years. The staff is kind and professional, and the docs are the best. Dr. Shrum tried for me when others misdiagnosed or gave up. I will never leave them, and have trusted my whole family's healthcare to them. Neither me nor my daughter would go anywhere else for our exams, Dr. Phelps is the only one.
Her direct words to me, verbatim, were "No, there is no evidence to show that progesterone suppositories help carry a child to term or that they even work." So I did not get the progesterone and my baby died.
Please don't trust this woman, I trusted her to do what it took to save my child, and she blatantly refused.
