Some of the campsites close to the river and on the northeast side were overgrown and not easily accessible. Some of the road-paths are barricaded.
The park itself was in nice shape; the roads were in good condition and there wasn't trash all over the place. It looked like the place had some maintenance performed before the big holiday.
My biggest gripe about the park was the lack of toilet facilities. One vault toilet was available in the main part of the park, with another down by the canoe let-in. The remainder were boarded up or locked. The park was full over the holiday weekend and the toilets were full before everybody arrived. The stench was unbearable.
I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend 2017 in campsite #5. It was nicely shaded, large enough for my tent trailer, and close to the restroom.
At the time of my stay, there was no water, potable or otherwise, available in the park. All of the faucets were capped. There is no electricity in the park either; no lights, outlets, or functional RV hookups. I had no signal with Verizon. I didn't mind, but it could be a deal breaker for some.

Its a shame that the park service is too lazy to keep the whole camp open. Pretty campsite but dont expect much. I dont have any qualms about this place but most folks from out of town do. Keep in mind you have to travel 5 miles down a dirt road just to find out if there is a spot available. First come first serve.
