Do a search on "my account was closed without reason by Regions Bank" and you will see that we were not the only ones affected by this bank.

We will never do business with them again. Lesson learned.

No banker can tell you what your standard overdraft is. No one at the bank knows not even the 800 line knows. They recommend you check it by going to an ATM and punching in numbers till you hit the amount. SERIOUSLY! I had an overdraft and took care of it 15 days later.

Will not hold there self accountable for their mistakes. Closed on Saturday. Bad customer service. I do not recommend use Arvest, Stone Bank, Bank of the Ozarks, Bear State. Avoid Arvest!!!

excellent service, they take care of the customers needs with friendly faces

The next time I used my overdraft.. it was gone. Each overdraft cost $36. They cut my overdraft because I paid it all in 15 days! While my account was overdrafted I received no calls from the bank. When they took it away, I got no calls from the bank. They took the $36 fees gladly!!

Also overdraft is changed and evaluated everyday. If the bank thinks you use it too much they will cut it. The amount of the overdraft changes daily. Today it can be $400 tomorrow $50.00, its all up to them and you will never be notified. Only way to have a set amount is to apply for their loan you use on overdrafts!

DO YOU REALLY WANT MYSTERY BANKING??

We recently moved to the Harrison area and was looking for a local bank. Harrison has numerous banks but against the advice of my wife I opened an account with Regions Bank. I started by trying to open it online but that system is broken and requires you to go in person to open the account. We then went in person and finished the application, showed our id's, applied for debit cards and checks and was told by Brandi, the manager, that she would take good care of us and we would be very happy with their service. The checks arrived as did the debit cards, we deposited a healthy balance and used the account to write one check and 2 electronic payments. A month later without any notice we received a letter from Brandi and a check closing our account! We went in person the next day and Brandi was suddenly a new person with zero customer service skills. She said they (corporate) had been trying to contact us because they couldn't verify my wife's last name. All the correspondence was sent to an address that my wife had over 10 years ago not the local one on file. Brandi's only response, "Have a nice day, Have a nice day".
